Verbal Wellbeing
Verbal’s vision is a world in which ‘every story matter’s'.
Verbal uses a shared reading model to start meaningful group conversations through short stories and characters from a wide range of literature. The aim is to talk about mental health and wellbeing and boost the emotional wellbeing of participants through story telling. Verbal have a variety of programmes that work with both children in a school setting and at events and adults. See current roles below:
Verbal Wellbeing Facilitators - Children & Young People
Deliver a 12-week story telling programme in primary and post primary schools across Northern Ireland.
- Full training in shared reading model, facilitation skills & safeguarding
- Available weekdays (school times)
- Flexible Commitment
- Minimum age 18+

Verbal Wellbeing Neighbourhood Champion - in partnership with Radius Housing
- Deliver a story telling programme in Radius communities across Northern Ireland.
- Full training in shared reading model, facilitation skills & safeguarding
- Available weekdays
- Flexible commitment
- Minimum age 18+
- AccessNI required
