Teach the Future is a UK wide student-led campaign who believe that climate change and sustainability is not being taught well enough in schools, and as a result young people are ill prepared for the future.
The NI branch of Teach the Future is just starting out and therefore are looking for young people (ideally between the ages of 14-26) to volunteer to help run the campaign with a vision towards creating legislation to get climate and sustainability taught in schools. Volunteers are needed for a range of tasks: from creating social media content and research to fundraising and gaining community support. Volunteers will work as part of a team to help achieve education reform working towards getting a climate education bill through Stormont. The volunteer role is a great opportunity, providing people with the chance to be part of real, important change in NI.
