February 2025 - Operational Recruitment
Foyle Search & Rescue will be recruiting in February 2025 for operational volunteers. You must be 18+, available to do 1 duty night per month and fulfil 4 mandatory training sessions per year, you must also commit to at least 6 hrs fundraising throughout the year. This process involves attending an open evening (scheduled for Tuesday 4th February '25) followed by interview, if successful you will need to complete a 4 week training programme which consists of 5 sessions, 4 of which are full days.

Education Team
Currently recruiting for volunteers to deliver an education programme which involves water safety and suicide prevention awareness depending on age. Foyle Search & Rescue are short on cover for weekday requests in schools/colleges or visits to our base so availability weekday is of particular interest.
Box Run
Currently recruiting for volunteers to join the box run team. Individuals will go from business to business emptying collection buckets throughout the town. You need to be available on every third Wednesday or Thursday each month between 10am-2pm or both were possible.
Fundraising Team
Currently recruiting for volunteers to join the fundraising team. These individuals would be required to attend collection days across town known as 'Flag Days'. You will also be involved in events and/or requested to attend any presentations that result from this.
