Whatever your skills or background, however much time you can give, you can make a difference!
The Woodland Trust care for a number of important woodlands that make up the Faughan Valley, an area of Special Scientific Intereset (ASSI). The Faughan Valley is rich in flora and home to an abundance of rare and wonderful wildlife which we need to protect. Volunteers in the Faughan Valley area are involved in anything from buidling leaky dams to planting and coppicing trees, river monitoring and surveying a whole array of wildlife from bats to butterflies.
Volunteers are also offered accredited training so they can learn new skills that will enable them to help conserve their local areas.
